This report, which presents the process of preparing the NAP in Togo, is structured in three (3) parts, namely:

• the context makes a biophysical, socio-economic, legal and institutional analysis and of financial and operating systems in Togo:
• the diagnosis of deforestation in Togo identifies the main manifestations of the phenomenon, examines the problem, the policies and strategies adopted, the actions undertaken and the results obtained before identifying the current strengths and constraints in the fight against this scourge;
• the National Action Programme to Combat Desertification presents the components identified, the objectives, the objectives, the priority areas and actions to be carried out, the expected results: it also represents a regionalized action plan with the actors and beneficiaries concerned, accompanying measures, supporting measures, implementation procedures and related risks.
