Second national report prepared under the Convention on Desertification
The first report prepared in May 1999 focused on measures taken in Togo to implement the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification. Togo has just taken one of the important steps in the implementation of the Convention by validating the PAN at the national forum on 17 and 18 December 2001, which is now a reference document for the fight against desertification.
