The sixth national report on the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity, which will be submitted to the secretariat of the Convention before the end of this year, has been the subject of validation by multisectoral actors since Wednesday, December 19 in Lomé.

For these actors, it is a question of going through the document developed by the consultants, after a long process of collecting and processing data on the implementation of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Togo, in order to improve it. And see if this information is in line with international requirements.

This sixth report has nothing in common with those prepared previously. It differs from the others in terms of structure and in terms of the information that is requested.

And also the mechanism put in place obliges states to provide information so that at the global level, it is possible to assess the effort made by each country.
