In 2011, support to the Pessaré community made it possible to carry out forest study activities (socio-economic studies, forest inventory) on the Pessaré community forest. This community forest, which is now the botanical garden, has aroused much more admiration from the country's national authorities, one of the results of which is the identification of this site as a pilot site in the Kara region in view of the range of forest species in which it abounds.
