Report of the CHM workshop in Kpalimé

On Monday, August 07, 2023, an awareness-raising workshop is taking place at the Hotel LES MERVEILLES in Kpalimé as part of the implementation of the project to transfer data from the CHM-Togo (PTK) site to the new “Bioland” site to the new “Bioland” site. This combined awareness-raising session on CHM-Togo was attended by a dozen people (see the attendance list) from institutions and associations in the Plateaux region. These include the NGO ADETOP, the NGO ADE, the NGO ADE, the NGO APAF-Togo, the NGO APAF-Togo, the NGO APAF-Togo, the NGO, APAF-Togo, the NGO, the N'GODEDE Association, and the Regional and Prefectural Directorates of the Ministry of Environment and Forest Resources. The training was given by Dr. Eric AGBESSI.

The latter, at the outset, welcomed the participants while reminding them of the framework of the meeting and specified the agenda, which mainly focused on the presentation of CHM-Togo and on the transfer of data from the old site to the new site elsewhere. For more conviviality, a round table was observed with the collection of agreements. A permanent exchange framework has been set up through the creation of a “WhatsApp” group to perpetuate contribution exercises and reinvigorate the emerging network of contributors. In his speech, Dr. Eric AGBESSI presented the CHM-Togo, its history, its institutional and legal framework and its objectives, as well as its roles and missions.

The practical phase was devoted to the transfer of data from the CHM-Togo (PTK) site to the new “bioland” tool.

Indeed, it was a question of downloading data in various formats (videos, documents, images...) from the old site to the new one. Each actor engaged in this practical exercise that allowed them to appropriate this new tool.

After verifying the data transferred to the new site, the workshop ended at around 5.30 p.m. on a note of satisfaction.
