In only 3% of the national territory covered by these ecosystems, are included 70% of the Bioland vertebrates. There are presented as a chain follows the coastal zone area in which we can mention from the north to the south Velipoje, the system of Kune-Vain, Patok, Rrushkull, Karavasta, Narta, Orikum, Butrint, etc. Especially these ecosystems are important for the birds, particularly the wintering of migratory water birds, and for the amphibian followed from the reptiles and mammals.
